"One for One" Program
One-for-one exchange program for old private cars3big condition
Condition 1 – The vehicle must be at least 6 years old
Old private cars must be registered in Hong Kong for at least 6 years at the time of deregistration. As mentioned above, such as parallel trucks, we should pay attention to this point when "one for one".
Condition 2 – Owning an old private car for 18 consecutive months or more
That is, there must be 18 months or more (one and a half years) between the date of registration as the owner and the date of cancellation of registration shown on the license plate.
Condition 3 – 10 Months License Fee
A minimum of 10 monthly license fees (ie 304 days or more) in the 12 months prior to deregistration, continuous or non-consecutive.
If the old private car meets the above three major conditions, it can also participate in the "one-for-one" program.
The 4-step process of applying for the "One Electric Vehicle Replacement Program"
Pay attention to the timing when changing a car, the car must be sold first and then a new car will be issued. The first registration application for splitting old cars, canceling registration and submitting replacement electric private cars must be carried out between February 28, 2018 and March 31, 2021, and the interval cannot exceed 3 months.
Step 1 – Confirm whether the old car is eligible to apply for the "One-for-One Replacement Scheme"

No application quota and resale restrictions
